Who can benefit?

This is not a comprehensive list, but I have had experience of working successfully with children who:

  • have very low self esteem
  • have suffered physical, sexual and emotional abuse/neglect
  • have witnessed domestic violence
  • have experienced parental separation/family breakdown
  • are affected by drug or alcohol dependency within the family
  • are affected by depression or other mental health issues within the family
  • have experienced trauma or loss
  • have difficulties in peer relationships
  • are anxious or suffer from phobias
  • have problems sleeping or difficulties in the area of food/eating
  • have Autistic Spectrum Disorders
  • have ADD or ADHD
  • exhibit attachment difficulties

“Children are our finest teachers. They already know how to grow, how to develop, how to learn, how to expand and discover, how to feel, laugh, cry and get mad... All they (and the children within us) need is the space to do it.”
